About our guest speaker
Tristan Kolay is very experienced at gaining sponsorships for events . He has successfully gained the support of a number of large corporations and local councils to help offset event costs and raise more funds for charitable causes. In this workshop, he will teach us some useful techniques and tools to maximise the chances of securing sponsors and additional support for fundraising events.
About the Rotaract Club of Perth
The Rotaract Club of Perth is a group of young people aged between 18 and 30 who strive to make a difference to the community by fundraising for various causes and volunteering together to bring positive change to the world. Our members get involved with varied charities and causes and have decided this year to focus on homelessness, mental health, refugee rights and environmental sustainability.
Help our street friends
Volunteer with us and make a difference to people that are currently sleeping rough in the streets of Perth.
Help us make it better for homeless people in Perth by volunteering your time and bringing some bread and fillings to make between 20 and 25 sandwiches each on Saturday 16 March from 1 pm to 3 pm.
At the Rotaract Club of Perth, we are passionate about helping the Perth Homeless Support Group.
How can you help?
To join this activity, you will need to bring enough ingredients to make 25-30 sandwiches. Sandwich fillings could be:
-Tuna and Mayo
-curried egg
-Egg, baby spinach and aioli
-Sliced meat, cheese, and pickle
-Polony and Sauce
-Sausage and Sauce
Please make sure the fillings are substantial (not just jam) and not soggy (no lettuce/tomatoes).
Due to a great number of responses last time, we are capping the event to 15 people and our current financial members will get priority.

Event Details
Join us for a Hollywood themed Ball to enjoy an evening of celebrity impersonators, live entertainment and paparazzi photographers all for a great cause! With a live band, a dance performance and a DJ to keep you dancing all night, this is a night you don’t want to miss!
We will kick off with canapes and champagne on arrival and live entertainment followed by a two-course meal, unlimited beer, wine and soft drink throughout the night.
We will donate the proceeds to the Perth Homeless Support Group, a group of volunteers, who help those sleeping rough in Perth and collect and hand out food packs, toiletries, fresh food, blankets, and jumpers.

We will be joining Trillion Trees Kel Saturday Planting event to plant as many trees as we can.

Many refugees in Australia are not allowed to work and are not entitled to welfare. As a result, they often struggle with poverty.
CARAD support asylum seekers, refugees, and detainees who have arrived in Australia but providing emergency food supplies, education and other support.
Come enjoy some delicious Japanese Curry to help us raise money to donate emergency food supplies for the refugees and asylum seekers.

Join Team Rotaract at the City to Surf, as we get our bodies moving and raise money for mental health!
No matter what pace you set for yourself, whether you fancy the 4km toddle or the 42k slog, you’ll be helping out a good cause. If you’ve been wanting some walking or running buddies to tag along with, this is a great opportunity.
All funds raised will be donated to Beyond Blue to support the 3 million Australian’s living with anxiety or depression.

Did you know you can give someone their sight back for just $25?
The Rotaract Club of Perth will be sizzling up a storm on Saturday, September 15th, at Bunnings Morley to raise funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation.
We need a few volunteers (4-5 volunteers per shift) to pop on an apron and pop one on the barbie over the following shifts:
- Shift 1 (7am to 10.15pm)
- Shift 2 (10.15am to 1.30pm)
- Shift 3 (1.15pm to 4.30pm)
If you can’t help out, then simply join us for lunch!
Every sausage sold contributes to a worthy cause. It will also be a great chance to pop down to Bunnings and sort out any tools and equipment you need.
