Sausage Sizzle for Fred Hollows Foundation @ Bunnings Morley

Did you know you can give someone their sight back for just $25?

The Rotaract Club of Perth will be sizzling up a storm on Saturday, September 15th, at Bunnings Morley to raise funds for the Fred Hollows Foundation.

We need a few volunteers (4-5 volunteers per shift) to pop on an apron and pop one on the barbie over the following shifts:

Shift 1 (7am to 10.15pm)
Shift 2 (10.15am to 1.30pm)
Shift 3 (1.15pm to 4.30pm)

If you can’t help out, then simply join us for lunch!

Every sausage sold contributes to a worthy cause. It will also be a great chance to pop down to Bunnings and sort out any tools and equipment you need.

We will also be planning new volunteering activities and fundraisers for March-April.

Holey Moley Rotaract Perth Bushfire Fundraiser @ Holey Moley and Northbridge Brewing Company

After a devastating bushfire season, parts of Australia need all the help they can get to rebuild. If you have been touched by the devastation caused by bushfires in our beautiful country, you can help!

Join us for a fun night of mini golf, pizza and drinks and help us raise much-needed funds for the bushfire relief efforts.

$20+ from each ticket will be going straight to the cause!

Tickets include 9 holes of minigolf at Holey Moley, pizza and a midi of beer (or wine/spirits for additional $4).

Carnival Ball for Perth Homeless Support Group @ Parmelia Hilton

Our Rotaract Perth ball is back and this time we will turn the heat up!

You can expect a night of glamour with a twist and Brazilian Carnival entertainment to keep you on your feet all night. We’re talking Carnival impersonators, Latin fusion dancing, DJ set, a live band, and you can even try your hand at salsa!

Get a selfie with our carnival-themed decor, or a professional photo taken while the band serenades you. Whatever you do it will be a night to remember!

Your ticket includes canapés on arrival, main course, a dessert platter, and drinks all night long (beer, wine, and soft drinks).

This is an event not to be missed and to put on your social calendar today!

If you would like to roll up your sleeves and donate, join us for a group donation at the Perth CBD donation centre! Donations will take place in small groups spaced approx. 30 minutes apart starting from 11 and for those interested, dumplings for lunch after!

Walk For Me – Walk at Bold Park for Youth Mental Health @ Reabold Hill Carpark

Hey everyone!

Would you like to go on a beautiful walk through the trails of Bold Park, and raise funds for youth mental health while doing so?

Youth Focus is a non-profit organisation that provides free counselling for 12-25 year olds in WA, and they are always in need of more funds to continue their amazing work. This mental health week (9th – 16th of October) they are running a campaign called Walk For Me, where people can sign up to walk 12, 24 or 49km over that week. To raise funds, it is encouraged to share the fundraising page link to social media and with any friends or family. There has been a page created for our Rotaract group:

Sick of zoom tutorials? Turning up your music to fix funny (scary?!) car sounds? Needing a brake and wanting to fuel your curiosity surrounding cars?

Join the Rotaract Club of Perth and Rotary Northbridge for a welcoming and informative afternoon to learn the ins and outs of your car

This short course will cover:

Changing tyres and checking pressure

Checking oil and engine coolant levels

Understanding warning lights

Jumpstarting

Tools to have in case of an emergency

Changing lights

The free afternoon is tailored to beginners with little to no knowledge as well as people who have some experience with cars. As this is the first time we are running this event, it is Rotaract Club of Perth members only and will be open to the general public and other Rotaract Club members after our opening session!
